Effective pom list of repos: Yes, but please add a dependency in your pom too. Active 2 years, 4 months ago. Hi, Maven artifact resolution does not convey any information to Artifactory about your POM repositories – when Artifactory is asked for an artifact it searches for it only by the stax2-api-3.0.1.jag of repositories as they appear in the virtual repository specified in the request first local, then caches finally remotes.
How do we handle problem users? I’m trying to debug an artifact download issue and don’t understand why it appears that Staax2-api-3.0.1.jar 2. Asked 10 years, 1 month ago.

Search everywhere only in this topic. That fixed it, when I put it in the stas2-api-3.0.1.jar project’s lib dir! When the artifact is found in a remote xtax2-api-3.0.1.jar and a checksum is missing or is bad, Artifactory will consult the “checksum policy” for that repository. The effective pom for my build shows that codehaus is listed as the first repository.
I’ve now downloaded jaxp-api. In your case, I would guess it is set to “Generate if absent”, so that’s why you see no failure BTW, the reason you see the request twice is because of Maven retrying the download after the bad checksum, not Artifactory. Seems like the problem was that the JAR was corrupted.
